Description: “Dorniin Gobi Energy LLC will implement the project to build a 300 MW power plant and an overhead transmission line to purpose of export the generated energy to China and compensate for the shortage of domestic regional energy demand.
Parliament Resolution No. 23 of August 28, 2020 provides for the construction of a 300 MW power plant in Altanshiree soum, Dornogovi aimag, in the “Five-Year Development Plan of Mongolia in 2021-2025”.
The construction of a 300 MW power plant in Altanshiree soum will provide electricity to the Sainshand industrial park, the non-ferrous metallurgy plant in the eastern region, the copper smelter in the southeastern region and other major projects.
